# The Shadowhunter Chronicles
Comprising of 21 books and 3 more to come, the Shadowhunter Chronicles is about descendants of Angels, who kill demons at night and keep balance in the world. It has action, drama, and romance. It will completely immerse you. The series is divided into various parts, the parts can be read as a series themselves. Each series has a different timeline though all are set in the same universe. There are two ways to read it, the chronological order or publishing order. I would personally recommend publishing order since things are easier to understand that way. The Series are:-
The Mortal Instruments
