You know all reader have a few books that have a special place in their heart, this book has a place in mine. I originally read this book during my 24 hrs, readathon, in fact this one was the last book I read. Ending the readathon with masterpiece. After I read it, I even recommended it to my mother, even she loved, she may or may not have also cried at the ending. So, on to the book review...
Summary :-
The small café in Tokyo offers it's customer something more special than just a good cup of hot coffee, it allows the customer to time travel.
The book is a collection of 4 stories from the café. A girl confronting her boyfriend who left her. A wife trying to get a letter from a husband whose memory is starting to fade. A woman who needs to meet her sister one last time. A mother meeting a daughter she never got to know.
But there a few things to keep in mind, customers must sit in a particular seat, and also, whatever they do it won't affect the present, and lastly, they must return back before the coffee gets cold.
Plus Points:-
It's basically has no main character. The workers at the café act as the main protagonists. They are amazing characters with depth. They are basically a family.
Medium pace of the book - It doesn't rush through the plot neither does it feel slow. The build ups are good, and you can feel the urgency in the scenes that should have it.
Interesting scenario and setting. Most commonly all time travel story plots are that a person messes up the timeline but not this one. This has the unique concept that the present won't change and the customers have to accept that fact.
Minus Points :-
Literally, nothing
Personal Opinion :-
It's just amazing, one of the best books I've ever read. It made me see things in a new perspective. It's though provoking and intelligent. The plot doesn't feel cliched. The shot - quick read. Emotional stories that touch your heart. Seeing the character growth and journey.
Overall Rating and Review :-

Review - Perfection
That's all for today
