My Physical TBR

Updated: Jan 17, 2023

Hello! Hi, there. Before beginning, if you don't know what TBR stands for, it stands for - to be read. But when we don't know yet. When I went to count the no. of books on the tbr, I didn't know there would be 10 books on it, which according to me is pretty good.

So without wasting any minute let's get to it...

{Side note* I have put the books in order of least excited to read to most excited}

1. Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie

Reason for not reading it yet: Truthfully speaking, the only reason I haven't read this yet is that after only reading Agatha Christie's books for the majority of 2021, I need a break. The feeling I get from an Agatha Christie novel (a feeling I love) was just too much after reading 45 books by her, yes you read correctly, 45 books. I just need a break but I do know whenever I get to read this one, I am going to love it.

What is it about: The story follows Gwenda moving into her new house, and soon after strange things start happening. Despite her efforts, crazy things won't stop happening, plus she felt scared every time climbing up the stairs. Then she turns to Miss Marple to help her...

No. of Pages: 303

2. The Diamond of Drury Lane by Julia Golding

Reason for not reading it yet: I didn't even remember I owned this book until I opened up a box of old books. And there it was. I don't even remember buying it.

What is it about: Ok, so my book doesn't have a summary, so searched it up online and there is just too much going on? It follows a person called Cat Royal and there is some sort of treasure. It was just too confusing, you can search it up yourself...

No. of Pages: 421

3. Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Sutanto

Reason for not reading it yet: Well, I want to save this one for a time I need a good old Comedy Murder Mystery. Also, I have heard great reviews and know I am going to love this book.

What is it about: When Meddy Chan accidentally kills her blind date, she quickly calls her aunties and asks them to help as they are the ones who set her up, so it's sort of their fault, and hiding a dead body is harder than you think...

No. of Pages: 337

4. A Court of Frost and Starlight

Reason for not reading it yet: I haven't reached there yet in the Acotar series, but I am still dreading it as a lot of my favorite booktubers said that this was not as good. As this is not a book but a collection of short stories or a novella.

What is it about: I am too scared to read the back of it, in case I spoil myself for the series...

No. of Pages: 229

5. A Reaper at the Gates

Reason for not reading it yet: I am currently reading A Torch Against the Night, and once I finish reading that I may pick this one up.

What is it about: once again, I am too scared to read the back of it, in case I spoil myself for the series...

No. of Pages: 458

6. A Sky Beyond the Storm

Reason for not reading it yet: I am currently reading A Torch Against the Night, and once I finish reading that, I will read A Reaper at the Gates, and then I may pick this one up if I don't pick up the previous one.

What is it about: once again, I am too scared to read the back of it, in case I spoil myself for the series...

No. of Pages: 516

7. Serpent and Dove

Reason for not reading it yet: I am in the middle of quite a few series, and want to finish them first, leave a part of myself in their world, take a part of that world, and put it in my heart before going to a new world (yes, I know that sounded exaggerated, leave me alone). But I may pick it up if I am in the Mood.

What is it about: Louise Blanc, a witch, and Reid Diggory, a witch hunter get bound in holy Matrimony, you see where this is going...

No. of Pages: 513

8. Blood and Honey

Reason for not reading it yet: I need to read Serpent and Dove first.

What is it about: once again, I am too scared to read the back of it, in case I spoil myself for the series...

No. of Pages: 532

9. A Court of Wings and Ruin

Reason for not reading it yet: I need to read A Court of Mist and Fury First.

What is it about: once again, I am too scared to read the back of it, in case I spoil myself for the series...

No. of Pages: 699

10. A Court of Mist and Fury

Reason for not reading it yet: Currently reading a different book but I am most likely to pick this one up next unless A Torch Against the Night ends in such a way, I need to pick up A Reaper at the Gates, we'll see.

What is it about: This one is also hard to explain without ruining the ending of the first book 1. Feyre's adventures after the ending of book 1 is the best way to put it...

No. of Pages: 624

That was all,

See you next time...

Happy Reading!
