Summer Bucket List - Book Tag

Updated: Aug 5, 2023

I decided to do the summer bucket list book tag in honor of the upcoming summer. Also, I hadn't done a book tag in a while so there was that. Onto the book tag...

Camp under the Stars - a book that left you starstruck
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

This book reignited my love for reading. This is every book lover's dream. With beautiful writing and an amazing fantasy world. One of the best books of my whole lifetime.

Grill some BBQ - book featuring delicious food
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

Honestly, this is the only book I know with some rememberable food. The Great Feast had amazing food made by the kitchen elves. Even on Hogsmeade trips, Butterbeer sounds great.

Go for a hike - a character who conquered an obstacle
Nasir Ghameq from Sands of Arawiya Duology

He starts off as the Evil King's assassin/son and grows to be an improved person, no more than he was and more focused on what he wants to be.

Hit the Beach - A book set by the water
Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie

A holiday murder mystery with Hercule Poirot. Set by the beach, when a body of a murdered woman is found, everything changes. Seems like Poirot never gets his holiday times to be relaxing...

Go Out for the Ice Cream - a book with a sweet romance
Liz & Wes from Better than the Movies
This is the only couple I know that gave me the least amount of pain. The cute - fluffy couple that gives you happiness. Bonus - they're both swifties

Marathon some Movies - a book you couldn't put down
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah. J. Maas

The final book to the Throne of Glass Series. The perfect ending to a phenomenal world. The perfect ending arcs for every character.

Picnic in the Park - a book that was a breath of fresh air
Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder

An interesting philosophical view of world history. Almost like a beautiful fever dream.

Go for a road trip - a book that involves a journey
Journey to the Center of the Earth

Well, I might not remember much of this book but I do know there was a journey because of the title

Watch Fireworks - a book that had fiery romance
Nesta and Cassian from A Court of Thorns and Roses series

My two aggressive idiots. The angst was worth it for the ending. The growing through the trauma, and moving on was beautifully done.

Watch the Sunrise - a Book that Inspired you
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

I just love this book so much. This book made me want to achieve something in life and do it without the fear of losing.

Till the next

Happy Reading!
