Who am I?

Updated: Mar 13, 2023

I am Sharanya Yadav. A human that was born in the year 2008. A creature that has been named human by our current existence. One of the beings that lives in India, Eastern Hemisphere, Northern Hemisphere, Asia, Earth, Solar system, Milky Way, the Universe, the mind of God, the mind of Science.

According to Science I am made up of atoms that make molecules, which make cells, which make tissues, which make organs, which make organ systems of my body. I, being a human, am going to live for a certain time, every year I grow older until the day I die, not even Science can stop that.

I am one of the creations of God. Not only my body but my soul. I may have lived a million lives I don't remember. According to Indian Mythology I have lived a hundred animal lives before getting this human form. My soul has no shape; it cannot be touched, but only known by the deepest of heart that it is there.

A lot of people believe that we are born for a reason to make a change. Every day, every second we evolve. We are taught, every second matters, it really does. We can't go back to undo our mistakes because if we do we never will learn.

Our life has been divided into many parts. When we are born we are babies, when we grow up a bit, we become children when we start becoming mature we are teenagers. Then we come to age that we cannot stay childish we are adults and then we grow older and die. But throughout this journey we have a name. It's a name given to us by our parents. Even though we grow to not like it, we still have to. Are we given this name because it will be easier to address? Because there are billions of people in this world? And among billions, would it easier to call out in a crowd? No, because as far as I believe, it's just a hollow word that has been given to us as names. It is us who is giving our names the real meaning. But many people don't because they can't, it is because they are afraid of what will become of them after that.

- According to "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder, we are stardust. Stardust is a particle that makes up the universe and everything in it.

People in different places and different situations look at people differently. A beggar's child from family's view is another mouth to feed, from an average man's view, a poor child asking for money, from a rich person's view, a slave. But the child is none but just another human. He is another one of God's Creations, another boy made up of atoms from Scientific perspective.

A poem to show -

Who am I?

A droplet of water in an ocean

One of god's creatures who puts the world in motion

What if we were born for a reason?

But still we will always live a season

Who I am?

Am I a structure made of molecules

or a person made that has been made by God's tools

What if I am a person with Science's thirst?

Or a mortal with a dying curse

Who am I?

A face unknown between knowns

one of the things in God's circle of life that have been sown

What if I am same as all

with the same height, IQ, face, body - big or small?

Who am I?

Question that will always be blank

a question which made the Science sank

Which won't be answered from heaven or sky

Who am I ?

There are 2 main religions in this world- Science and God. Both are completely opposites. So are their answers from the eternal question.

SCIENCE - I am another person of my lineage. I am made up of atom and molecules. To keep my lineage going, I will reproduce. When I die, bacteria will eat my cells helping it to decompose.

GOD- I am nothing but a soul. I am born for a reason. When I fulfill it, I can die in peace. Then if I served my purpose I go to heaven or hell if not I am born again to serve it.

But, at the end of the day my collective answer would be that- This question cannot be answered. It always have and always will be blank.

Who am I?

The Question Unanswered.

Till the next

Keep thinking and writing

Happy Reading!
