  • Babel, or the Necessity of Violence by R.F. Kuang - "a student against an empire" - Book Review

“Betrayal. Translation means doing violence upon the original, means warping and distorting it for foreign, unintended eyes. So then where does that leave us? How can we conclude, except by acknowledging that an act of translation is then necessarily always an act of betrayal?” ― R.F. Kuang, Babel Published in 2022, Babel, or the Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translator's Revolution by R.F. Kuang reached the first spot on The New York Times Best Seller list and has also won Blackwell's Books of the Year for Fiction in 2022. The author takes inspiration from her own experiences and history as a translator and an oxford graduate. *There will be spoilers about the book but I'll be giving the spoiler-free review first, so I'll give a warning before the spoilers start. “That's the beauty of learning a new language. It should feel like an enormous undertaking. It ought to intimidate you. It makes you appreciate the complexity of the ones you know already.” ― R.F. Kuang, Babel Spoiler Free - Review Summary In Oxford 1836, Robin Swift, an orphan from Canton who grew up in England, arrives at Oxford for the Study of Languages and Silver work. In this world, everything runs on Silver Bars and Language usage, very few people know how this works. And soon Robin and his three classmates are going to be one of them but will they survive this empire and its colonialism and imperialism? Opinion Even though you expect this book to be tough to understand, it isn't. It isn't too complicated. Everything is explained simply, and easy to understand. It touches on important topics and instead of just telling us about them, shows them to use. We comprehend the decisions of our main characters because we know what they are going through. The characters are well-written and feel realistic. They grow through real-life issues that change them for either better or worse. Overall, an amazing book that's worth reading Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 “If we push in the right spots - then we've moved things to the breaking point. The future becomes fluid, and change is possible. History isn't a premed tapestry that we've got to suffer, a closed world with no exit. We can form it. Make it. We just have to choose to make it.” ― R.F. Kuang, Babel Spoiler Review Positives Writing Style - It is easy to understand and it isn't one of those Dark Academia books that make you feel dumb. The Plot - It is thought out. It doesn't feel too stretched or too short. It leaves you wanting more at the end of each chapter. The Setting - The story takes place in Oxford. The university plays a prominent role throughout the book. Genre - This is the peak of Dark Academia. Best one I've read. The vibe and aesthetic are there and are just perfect. “So, you see, translators do not so much deliver a message as the rewrite the original. And herein lies the difficulty - rewriting is still writing, and writing always reflects the authors ideology and biases.” ― R.F. Kuang, Babel Negatives Sometimes there are points where there is a lot of information about translation. They can be too much to comprehend. Although I thought the characters were realistic, for you, they might feel like caricatures or you might love them there are no guarantees. Not everyone will understand the themes of the book and that's fine if you don't. “A lie was not a lie if it was never uttered; questions that were never asked did not need answers. They would both remain perfectly content to linger in the liminal, endless space between truth and denial.” ― R.F. Kuang, Babel Themes Colonialism - This is set around the time when the British had a lot of power. It cleverly shows us how their rule affected the lives of their own country and how it affected the foreigners. Racism - Our main protagonist, Robin is from China and his best friend Ramy is from India. We are shown how they both face racism and how they deal with it as a majority of the students at Babel are white. Victoire, another main character, also faces this issue besides sexism she faces. Ex - When people think she's her white roommate's (Letty) maid rather than thinking of her as a student at the university. “We are foreign because this nation has marked us so, and as long as we’re punished daily for our ties to our homelands, we might as well defend them." - R.F. Kuang Sexism - Victoire and Letty are the only female students at the university. Students there think they don't deserve to be there because of their gender. “I suppose we decided to be girls because being boys seems to require giving up half your brain cells.” ― R.F. Kuang Opinion I really don't have words to tell how much this book affected me. I cried reading the ending. Just read it. “Words tell stories. Specifically, the history of those words - how they came into use, and how their meaning morphed into what they mean today - tell us just as much about a people, if not more, than any other kind of historical artefact.” - R.F. Kuang Till the Next Happy Reading

  • The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie - Book Review

My first Agatha Christie Book Review. If you don't know about this amazing author whose works have sold more than 2 billion copies, let me introduce you to this great soul. Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Mallowan, ( September 15, 1890 - January 12, 1976) was an English writer widely known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, mostly centered around the popular fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. She has also written the world's longest-running play, the murder mystery - The Mousetrap, which has been running in London since 1952. As an author of the "Golden Age of Detective Fiction," Christie has been nicknamed the "Queen of Crime." She also wrote six novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott. In 1971 she was made a Dame (DBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to literature. The Guinness Book of Records lists Christie as the best-selling writer of all time. Now, to the book review... INTRODUCTION When Alice Asher is murdered in Andover, Hercule Poirot is already following the clues. Alphabetically, it's one letter down, and twenty-five to go. There is a serial killer on the loose. His macabre calling card is the ABC Railway Guide, which he leaves next to the bodies of his victims. But if A stands for Alice Asher, slain in Andover, and B for Betty Bernard, strangled with her belt on Bexhill beach, who will victim C be? And more importantly, why is this happening? POSITIVES A cleverly constructed mystery that keeps you on your toes. The ending feels well-planned out, it doesn't feel that it came out of no-where The characters feel natural and realistic. The cast of the characters is interesting and you won't have any who to even suspect. The scenario is fascinating, normally murderers try to cover up their tracks but in this one, our serial killer just challenges Hercule Poirot (big mistake) to catch if he can. NEGATIVES The plot sometimes just feels that it is building up to nowhere so it feels tedious sometimes but it actually pays off in the end. Trust me. PERSONAL OPINION One of Christie's best works. Read it, it's amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 stars / ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Till the Next Happy Reading

Great characters who react realistically. They have hard decisions to make and that proves how for them things are becoming complicated and difficult. The flashbacks from the previous relationship are interesting showed. Negatives: Some may find this book too stretched out. The characters may feel like caricatures at times. • The Secret History by Donna Tartt - Book Review

One of the original Drak Academia books. This one walked so that the others could run. This book was a journey and a crazy ride to where I don't know but I liked it or did I. On to the review... Summary When Richard, a poor broke, joins Hampden College in Vermont, he's mesmerized by the Greek professor and his five eccentric students who are not quite what they seem. From religious rituals to dark secrets, from romanticizing death to killing, this book has it all. Positives The way it is written is beautiful and it has extremely well-described scenes The characters have depth, everyone is harboring a secret and they are well stretched out and don't feel like caricatures. The structuring of the book is nicely done and doesn't feel too rushed. This depicts the romanticism of education and what happens when you take it too far. Negatives While it doesn't feel too rushed, it really feels at times that it has really slowed down and has no progress at all. While the characters are well-written, they also make some questionable and well... stupid decisions. It definitely feels like a novel in the sense you this could never take place in real life. Importance of the Setting The grim sad Vermont definitely plays a huge role. And it maintains this dark vibe till the very need of the book. This specific setting is very vital to the book which points out the darker side of education and humans. Important Points / Morals of the Book The biggest one is Romanticism of Education and it's bad effects. Poverty and how it plays a role in a student's life. How people don't release how toxic their friends our till they actually lose their friend. Incest - I would not like to talk about this How looking up to a person almost makes them seem perfect while in reality they aren't Choosing the wrong company can make you end up in trouble Personal Opinion I still don't understand and never will if I really liked this or really hated but I do know that I couldn't keep it down and was infuriated with it. Final Verdict ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Till the next Happy Reading!

  • Spotify Wrapped - Book Tag

I know it's been 4 months since the year started and Spotify wrapped was made but then I saw this book tag and I had to do it. Song 1: Don't Blame Me by Taylor Swift This I discovered the world of Taylor Swift and then just fell down the rabbit hole. This was my favorite song of hers and was on repeat the whole year. This song reminds me of Zafira and Nasir from Sands of Arawiya Duology. Just the perfect song for them. Song 2: Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush Another thing I got into last year was the show Stranger Things. I became obsessed with this song. This song has become one of my top favorites. This for some reason reminds me of Elias and Laia from An Ember in the Ashes Series. Not every lyric but some of them really fit their relationship. Song 3: Love me like you do by Ellie Goulding Beautiful song, one of my favorites. One of the songs I keep on repeat. This is the perfect song of Rhysand and Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses. The lyrics and the beat, everything reminds me of them Song 4: Fairytale by Alexander Rybak This is such a beautiful song. The way it's written and the beat are just perfect. This song is perfect for my favorite couple - Jude and Cardan from the Folk of the Air series. The tension and the angst of their relationship are exactly described in this song. Song 5: Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift This is that song that you always scream sing or try to sing. The bridge is just - chef's kiss. This for some reason reminds me of Tessa and Will from The Infernal Devices. "He looks up grinning like a devil", is definitely very Will Herondale. Till the Next Happy Reading...

Poetry is my way to a person's heart. So, without waiting, let's start the journey to the heart... Imperfect When you live in your own head You think have the perfect friends. The smallest problem automatically mends. Nothing to worry about Nothing makes you scream or shout. But something changes. You realize this is not your world. someone tells you, your flaws You argue a lot with your friends. Stress becomes a 24/7hs feeling Problems become everything Everything becomes complicated But sometimes after you realize It was for the better and it was wise Being perfect isn't great. you need to know your flaws You're imperfect you need to accept it Daisy Field I stand in a daisy field matching the dusk Leaves dance in the wind. And the mocking jays sing In this world some are content while some just pretend Some don't know their destination. Some don't know their path Some don't know when to start Some don't know when to quit Some have too much fury, Some have too much satisfaction The real challenge of life, deciding where do you belong. (in the above choices) Maybe you'll forge your own way Maybe you'll be from the world, stay may I stand in a daisy field, watching the sun burn One day, to win, it'll be my turn You think you know me? I fake smiles in a crowded room And no one can tell But sometimes they do, so was it a true fake smile? Am I good or bad, no one knows anymore Did I fake drowning fill I made it to the shore I talk behind people's backs. But then, I get upset if they do it to me Between right and wrong, the choice Sometimes it's just silly People around me affect my emotions. So, I change accordingly Treat me the would like to be treated Am I a good person who made some bad mistakes? Am I a bad person who made some good mistakes? No one knows and no one will Ghosts of the Past I walk down the hallway convinced someone follows behind Ghosts from the past won't stay away Each one of them is a line A feeling of dread comes over me, clearly, forgotten, the past cannot be They won't hurt me They will hurt me Everyone I loved saved themselves Everyone who loved me saved themselves. Because in the end, it's every for themself The only person who can save me, is me But I don't have the strength to Phantoms sing a song about everything wrong with me No one in this world is truly free All are haunted by their past But there is no story without a plot - twist. Someone did love me enough to come help. They did hear my crying yelp. But they did not save me. They taught me how to save myself The Past teaches you The present makes you work The Future surprises you At the end of the day, we're all survivors Winners against the world or our mistakes. Dreams and nightmares Dreams never last, Nightmares make you wake up fast. Days are long because there's too much work. Nights are short because you're lost in dreams Friends sometimes get lost, Enemies help you out Angels don't come for help, Devils always assist Sun shows itself burning and full of rage The moon shows its coolness and beauty but no one sees About commotion, everyone complains, while no one compliments the silence In this world, no one can be trusted not even your shadows Only you can wipe your tears when you're high or low Never trust anyone or what they said Life is too much beautiful, to be seen through someone else's eyes With every person, you will have goodbyes The only person who will stay with you is you Till the Next Happy Reading!

  • Poetry Pages - 7

After a long time, I'm back with poetry pages, part 7. Since we have a lot of poems to get through, let's begin... Regret I hope you regret me as much as I regret you I hope you don't listen to 'that song' because it reminds you of me I hope when you talk about me, you don't feel sad I remember that once your face made me glad I remember the time, when I closed my eyes only your face I could see I remember when I had some hope that maybe you liked me too Loving you kept me alive every day You not loving me back kills me every day So, now you tell me, am I alive or dead? "I don't like you back", isn't that what you said? To that, what was I supposed to say? Even the heavy downpour of rain Couldn't wash the marks you left on my soul Couldn't wash the cursed and damned stains For anyone else, you ruined me completely whole I bet you'll miss me when I'm gone After you, there would be none You won't even try to love You think I'm inferior, and you're above My heart wants me, to get on my knees and beg you to stay But my mind gets in the way You would never even consider me as a choice God, I really hate boys You'll never know how much a girl loved you once My heart never learns All my broken heart pieces still love you Old but this situation feels new I hope you regret me more than anything I hope you know, for me, you were everything I hope you listen to 'that song' because it reminds you of me I hope you know, for you I became the best I could be I hope you grieve when you talk about me I hope you are ruined whole too I hope you regret me as much as I regret you Beautiful friends Just because it is beautiful doesn't mean it's good, Just because someone loves you, doesn't mean you should too. The ones you trust the most Betray you, and haunt you like a ghost The ones you desire the most often Are the ones you will write about when you pick up your pen The ones you love greatly Become the ones you hate lately Sometimes you think that you didn't deserve them Or maybe you did, just not in this realm When the person you want to talk to Doesn't want to talk to you talk to you Beware of some people in your life Your closest ones are the ones who stab you in the back with a knife Been Through This What to do when you love someone who doesn't love you back ? You'll think about the list of things you lack You'll think it is your fault You'll think you're to blame Let me tell you you'll never be the same Your friends won't be able to convinve you otherwise Your friends won't be able to tell you, the truth or tell you lies You'll think where you went wrong You'll think of the same person when you hear a certain song How do I know this, I've been through this You'll have a person you always miss You'll know, that person doesn't miss you too The person you once thought, loved you too How do you stop loving someone How do you stop loving someone Love's not a thing that cab be undone Survivors of heartbreak are none It makes you go numb It's hard to hate someone you loved once Even though it hurts, tons Can kill a person, heartbreak? Feels like you drowned in a lake It makes you feel tired All because of a person, you once desired I don't understand how to stop Loving him had become a tedious joke How do you stop loving someone? Wipe Your Tears Would you miss me when I'm dead? Would you regret everything you did Would you regret everything you said What the hell did I do in past life, To deserve the pain you gave me To deserve our strife couldn't see Would you attend my funeral ? which would be silent and dull, When I was alive you never cared a bit. Then why are you sobbing and crying on your knees Even after the funeral, you'll come by my grave and sit Maybe you won't be able to say my name Not without regret and pain My ghost will try to wipe your tears. Thinking how we wasted so many years You'll move one eventually cause you never loved me, not in the way I wanted Because it was always her, you had wanted You won't tell her about me will you? She won't know my name, won't have a clue My lifeless eyes will miss your smile and face Even after hundreds of days. Would you think of me at random times Or would I just become one of your romantic crimes I'm the one that's dead, but I'll be haunted with thoughts of us If I was you If I was you I would have changed the ending I wouldn't have left it pending. I would have talked to you more I would have cared more I would have never made you cry I would at least give it a try I would have never made you hate me I would never humiliate me I would never create a misunderstanding I wouldn't have broken your heart I would have changed everything from the beginning of it all Without you, I wouldn't have been what I am today Till the next Happy Reading

  • Book Recommendation Tag

Initially started by Steph Bohrer on youtube, and I thought this was the best way to recommend book. I have also added 5 questions from Larry reads channel. So without any further waiting, the questions... 1. a book you tell people is your favorite - Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. One of my top reads of all time. When railroad gets blocked due to heavy snow and all the passengers are snowed. A murder occurs, so Poirot has to find out who the killer is before another murder takes place. This is one of the best murder mysteries I have ever read. I was shocked at the ending. Well done Christie. 2. a book that is your guilty pleasure - The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. I know this is not exactly accurate to Greek mythology and that's the main criticism but I love it despite that. I was honestly not expecting a lot. I was thinking that I did not love the characters but in the end, I realized that I had grown to love them without even realizing it. It is a beautiful example of writing by Madeline Miller. 3. a book everyone loved but you didn’t - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The first book I read by T.J.R. was Daisy Jones and the Six, so my expectations from this book were very high. Sadly, I was disappointed by this book. The Hollywood backdrop didn't work for me. But despite this book not being my favourite book, I will appreciate the way it is written. There was only one character I truly loved and that was Henry. Even though this book isn't my favourite, I still recommend this book to other people. 4. a book you read the fastest - Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson. Just because I read it fast doesn't mean I loved it. I hated this book which is awful because the books before were all my favourite. This book annoyed me to all ends. The only reason I read this was I wanted it to get over, so that I just know what happened and then I could wait a year for a better sequel. 5. a book that deserves more hype -The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Even though it has a lot of hype, I think it deserves more. It has an amazing story and vivid imagery. Great characters and great growth arcs. It is one of those books which has different plot lines which all interconnect at the end. Read my full review- 6. a book you have read over and over again - Once upon a Thriller by Carolyn Keene. I have read this 4 times. For some reason, this book just radiates me comfort. Though sometimes mysteries lose their charm after reading the book for the first time, this one hasn't. It's almost like every time I read this book it gets better. The basic premise is that Nancy and her best friends Bess and George are one vacation by a beachside place, and Nancy just wants to curl up with a good book. But when they reach to the best bookshop of the town, they find it burnt, was is an accident or someone taking revenge, it's up to Nancy Drew to figure it out. 7. a book that you reread the most - Once upon a Thriller by Carolyn Keene. This book creates its genre. It's a fictional book with a little fantasy and the themes of self-help and spirituality. One of the best books I've ever read. Read my full review- 9. a book that deserves all the hype it gets - Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I love this book and everything it stands for. It has also been turned into a show. Once all the episodes are out I might write a show review. Read my review- 10. a book you usually recommend when asked to give a recommendation - Before the Coffee gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. This is one of the best books ever written. It is unique and interesting. It uses the theme of time - travel but refurnishes it so that it feels new. Read my Review- 11. a book that has your favorite characters - This is an unfair question and that's why I'll name multiple series because I am very indecisive - Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games series, The Shadowhunter Chronicles, The Chronicles of Narnia, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Caraval series, The Night Circus, The Starless Sea, Truly Devious series, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Sands of Arawiya duology, Folk of the Air series and Serpent and Dove series. There you go all 13 of them. 12. a book you wish you could live in - The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. This is my dream world. A place where they love books, full of fun and adventure. A place where everything is a story, the books, the walls, the statues, and even the people there. One of the best books I've ever read. 13. a book you thought you would hate but ended up loving - Folk of the Air series by Holly Black. I had very negative reviews about this book and even had been spoiled for some minor details but I still ended up loving it. I binge-read this series in 7hrs. I just loved this world and some characters and hated the characters(in a good way that doesn't make me want to stop reading). The political drama was amazingly written. Read my Review- 14. a book that made you cry - Once again this question is not fair, so I'm just going to list all of them - Clockwork Princess, Before the Coffee gets Cold, Babel, and Daisy Jones and the Six. That's all four of them. 15. a book you wish you could read for the first time - A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson. This is one of my favorite series. It is well-written and has a greatly planned murder mystery. The characters are realistic and don't feel one-dimensional. Read my Review- 16. a book that could cure a reading slump - And then there were none by Agatha Christie. This book can and did cure a reading slump. This book cured a year-long reading slump. I read this book in 2 days. I think this book originates the idea and theme of a bunch of people stuck together and then all of them start dying one by one. 17. a book you think everyone needs to read - Once again - Before the Coffee gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. This is one of the best books ever written. It is unique and interesting. It uses the theme of time - travel but refurnishes it so that it feels new. Read my Review:- 18. a book you think would make an amazing movie - Babel by R.F. Kuang. Listen, even though everyone prefers having a show for their favorite books, I think it would do great in a movie format. As in the starting 3 parts, there is not much action and everything just kickstarts in the 4th part. But I will say I this to be one of those long 3hrs(almost edging on 4) movies. Because if they did that, I can assure you this movie might just be Oscar Material 19. a book you wish everyone would give a shot even if it’s out of their comfort zone - Once Again -The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book creates its genre. It's a fictional book with a little fantasy and the themes of self-help and spirituality. One of the best books I've ever read. Read my full review- 20. a book you’ll never forget - The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie. I will never forget this book. This book sometimes just randomly pops into my head once a week. I'm still baffled at the ending of this book. Just read it. Till the next Happy Reading

  • Who am I?

I am Sharanya Yadav. A human that was born in the year 2008. A creature that has been named human by our current existence. One of the beings that lives in India, Eastern Hemisphere, Northern Hemisphere, Asia, Earth, Solar system, Milky Way, the Universe, the mind of God, the mind of Science. According to Science I am made up of atoms that make molecules, which make cells, which make tissues, which make organs, which make organ systems of my body. I, being a human, am going to live for a certain time, every year I grow older until the day I die, not even Science can stop that. I am one of the creations of God. Not only my body but my soul. I may have lived a million lives I don't remember. According to Indian Mythology I have lived a hundred animal lives before getting this human form. My soul has no shape; it cannot be touched, but only known by the deepest of heart that it is there. A lot of people believe that we are born for a reason to make a change. Every day, every second we evolve. We are taught, every second matters, it really does. We can't go back to undo our mistakes because if we do we never will learn. Our life has been divided into many parts. When we are born we are babies, when we grow up a bit, we become children when we start becoming mature we are teenagers. Then we come to age that we cannot stay childish we are adults and then we grow older and die. But throughout this journey we have a name. It's a name given to us by our parents. Even though we grow to not like it, we still have to. Are we given this name because it will be easier to address? Because there are billions of people in this world? And among billions, would it easier to call out in a crowd? No, because as far as I believe, it's just a hollow word that has been given to us as names. It is us who is giving our names the real meaning. But many people don't because they can't, it is because they are afraid of what will become of them after that. - According to "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder, we are stardust. Stardust is a particle that makes up the universe and everything in it. People in different places and different situations look at people differently. A beggar's child from family's view is another mouth to feed, from an average man's view, a poor child asking for money, from a rich person's view, a slave. But the child is none but just another human. He is another one of God's Creations, another boy made up of atoms from Scientific perspective. A poem to show - Who am I? A droplet of water in an ocean One of god's creatures who puts the world in motion What if we were born for a reason? But still we will always live a season Who I am? Am I a structure made of molecules or a person made that has been made by God's tools What if I am a person with Science's thirst? Or a mortal with a dying curse Who am I? A face unknown between knowns one of the things in God's circle of life that have been sown What if I am same as all with the same height, IQ, face, body - big or small? Who am I? Question that will always be blank a question which made the Science sank Which won't be answered from heaven or sky Who am I ? There are 2 main religions in this world- Science and God. Both are completely opposites. So are their answers from the eternal question. SCIENCE - I am another person of my lineage. I am made up of atom and molecules. To keep my lineage going, I will reproduce. When I die, bacteria will eat my cells helping it to decompose. GOD- I am nothing but a soul. I am born for a reason. When I fulfill it, I can die in peace. Then if I served my purpose I go to heaven or hell if not I am born again to serve it. But, at the end of the day my collective answer would be that- This question cannot be answered. It always have and always will be blank. Who am I? The Question Unanswered. Till the next Keep thinking and writing Happy Reading!

  • Before the Coffee gets Cold : Book Review

You know all reader have a few books that have a special place in their heart, this book has a place in mine. I originally read this book during my 24 hrs, readathon, in fact this one was the last book I read. Ending the readathon with masterpiece. After I read it, I even recommended it to my mother, even she loved, she may or may not have also cried at the ending. So, on to the book review... Summary :- The small café in Tokyo offers it's customer something more special than just a good cup of hot coffee, it allows the customer to time travel. The book is a collection of 4 stories from the café. A girl confronting her boyfriend who left her. A wife trying to get a letter from a husband whose memory is starting to fade. A woman who needs to meet her sister one last time. A mother meeting a daughter she never got to know. But there a few things to keep in mind, customers must sit in a particular seat, and also, whatever they do it won't affect the present, and lastly, they must return back before the coffee gets cold. Plus Points:- It's basically has no main character. The workers at the café act as the main protagonists. They are amazing characters with depth. They are basically a family. Medium pace of the book - It doesn't rush through the plot neither does it feel slow. The build ups are good, and you can feel the urgency in the scenes that should have it. Interesting scenario and setting. Most commonly all time travel story plots are that a person messes up the timeline but not this one. This has the unique concept that the present won't change and the customers have to accept that fact. Minus Points :- Literally, nothing Personal Opinion :- It's just amazing, one of the best books I've ever read. It made me see things in a new perspective. It's though provoking and intelligent. The plot doesn't feel cliched. The shot - quick read. Emotional stories that touch your heart. Seeing the character growth and journey. Overall Rating and Review :- Rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review - Perfection That's all for today Happy Reading!
